Fragrant herb gardens are made of herbs that have aromas. Fragrant herb gardens can be very relaxing after a stressful day. It can be a small garden with just a few herbs or it can be a larger area with many different kinds of aromatic herbs.
Fragrant herbs will release their aromas when touched or rubbed. It would be a good idea to plant the garden close to your home to get the full benefit of the aromas wafting through your home when the wind blows. Basil
Basil is mostly used for cooking but it has a pleasant fragrance. Not only does it smell good but is rich in vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, vitamin C and magnesium.

Catnip
Catnip has a pleasant aroma and is especially pleasant to cats. Planting catnip in your herb garden is sure to attract four-legged furry visitors.

Chamomile
Chamomile has a wonderful aroma and both the flowers and leafy part smell good.

Lemon Balm
Lemon balm has a citrus aroma and is a great addition to any herb garden. It grows like a weed so make sure that you cut it back regularly.

Mint

Scented Geraniums

The aroma is released if you rub the leaves. Scented geraniums need extra care and are susceptible to bad weather and will need to be moved into shelter.
